Theatre Complex
In the 1950's, the Society made it's first purchase of property in the Ahuriri area of Napier and set up rehearsal rooms.
Over the succeeding years, three adjoining properties were purchased and the Tabard Theatre complex built. Currently valued in excess of two million dollars, the complex consists of an auditorium that seats 125 theatre restaurant style and 200 theatre style.
A very successful costume hire business operates within the complex and the Society assets include over $300,000 of sound and lighting equipment as well as a fully equipped workshop for scenery/props building and costume-making facilities.
